WHAT DO I NEED TO BE ABLE TO RENT A VAN?

A full UK driving licence held for at least 2 years. With no more than 6 points

Have your own credit card or debit card and be aged 21 to 69. (70 or over call for information)

HOW LONG DO I NEED TO HAVE HELD A DRIVING LICENCE FOR?

You must have held your licence for at least 2 years.

CAN SOMEONE ELSE OTHER THAN MYSELF DRIVE THE VAN?

Yes they can but you must pay an additional driver’s insurance and the driver’s licence, Hire code from the DVLA website must be presented at time of rental.

I HAVE SOME ENDORSEMENTS ON MY DRIVING LICENCE. CAN I STILL HIRE FROM YOU?

If you have 6 points or below on your licence you can still hire from us. If you have above 6 points or have a IN, DD, DR or BA endorsement that is within less than 5 years you are not able to hire from us.

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING WITH ME WHEN COLLECTING THE VAN?

1. A full driving licence for all named drivers, Hire code from the DVLA website https://www.viewdrivingrecord.service.gov.uk/driving-record/licence-number Due to legal and insurance reasons, we will not be able to rent to you if you cannot produce your driving licence.
2.  Proof of address : Utility bill, Bank statement or phone bill.
3. Credit card or debit card.

WHAT IS INCLUDED IN YOUR PRICES?

Unless otherwise stated, your rental price is fully inclusive of insurance costs. You will be given a Rental Agreement to check and sign.

DOES THE VEHICLE COME WITH FUEL?

The vehicle will be provided with a quarter of a tank of fuel and must be returned filled to the same level.

HOW DO I PAY FOR THE VEHICLE?

All major Credit Cards – such as Eurocard/Mastercard and Visa – are accepted. Switch, Maestro and Visa Delta Debit Cards are accepted.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I WANT TO KEEP THE VEHICLE LONGER THAN PLANNED?

If you wish to keep the vehicle longer than the contracted period, this must be agreed with us beforehand.

WHAT DO I NEED TO CHECK BEFORE I DRIVE THE VEHICLE AWAY?

It is important you check the vehicle for any damage to help assess any damage that occurs during your rental. You will be asked to sign a Pre Rental Inspection document at the start and end of the rental.

Please note once you have made a card payment you have 24 hours to cancel with a full refund. 

After the 24 hours period you will be issued with a credit note for the full amount to be used once within 12 months of payment date. Please note once you have selected another date to use the credit note this cannot be moved or changed
